Our Story
Scott and Richard started Hamilton Bird Motor Company in April 2019.
Scott and Richard met at Alexander David Service back in 2011. Scott has a main dealer trained background and then worked at Alexander David for 8 years working on anything from your average everyday car to many exciting high end performance sports cars on the road today. Richard has had the love for cars for decades and owned his own business for many years before joining Halfpennys garage. He has the knowledge described by others as impeccable. Richard not only has the knowledge on modern vehicles but has a vast knowledge on classic cars also.
With over 50 years combined experience we believe we can offer many services that some others can’t!

MOT CLASS 4 AND CLASS 7
We had a brand new MOT station built in June 2021. We can MOT cars and class 7 Vans.
We don't charge retest fee's and can carry out repairs onsite to help you get your car back on the road if it fails the MOT.
VEHICLE REPAIRS

AIR CON REGAS
Hamilton Bird Motor Company are fully equipped to do both R134A and R1234YF gasses. These are the old and new air con gasses. Regassing involves the removal of the old refrigerant gas from your unit and replacement with a new refrigerant. Over time your car air conditioning system loses its cool. This is because refrigerant gradually leaks out over time.
It is recommended to regas your air conditioning every 2 years.
